Get creative and have some fun with my experimental textile workshops. All students love exploring new textile techniques and feel a sense of achievement after leaving. My range of classes are designed to run with small groups of no larger than six, giving attention and support when required.

Discover how to do free machine embroidery using different materials such as use cold water dissoluble fabric, tyvek and angelina fibres.
In my workshops we will learn how to set up the sewing machine for free machine embroidery, then you will spend the sessions exploring the skills and techniques that will enable you to make a selection of beautiful create samples .
Explore mono printing, collagraph, gelli print techniques to create exciting backgrounds for textile panels. You will then have the opportunity to further embellish the surface with applique, and stitching to build up a rich layered surface.
